OtoMate Data Deletion Instructions
Last Updated: August 10, 2026
OtoMate respects your right to control your personal information. This page explains how individuals, OtoMate users, and users of Meta-connected services can request deletion of information processed by OtoMate.
Requesting Deletion of Your OtoMate Account Data
If you have an OtoMate account and would like to request deletion of your personal information or account-related data, contact us at:
Privacy Email:
Use the subject: Data Deletion Request Please provide enough information for us to identify the relevant account or workspace. This may include your name, business email address, company or workspace name, and any other information reasonably required to verify your request. Do not send passwords, access tokens, payment card details, or other sensitive credentials. After verifying the request, OtoMate will process the deletion request in accordance with applicable law, contractual requirements, security obligations, and our retention policies.
Deleting a Workspace
If you are an authorized workspace owner or administrator and wish to terminate an OtoMate workspace and request deletion of its associated Customer Content, contact OtoMate support or use the applicable workspace deletion functionality where available. Requests to delete an entire organization or workspace must be submitted by an authorized representative of that organization. Certain records may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal, accounting, fraud prevention, security, contractual, or dispute-resolution purposes.
3. Deleting Data Received
Through Meta
If you connected a Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Meta Business, or other Meta-supported account to OtoMate, you may request deletion of information that OtoMate received through that connection. You may first disconnect OtoMate from the applicable Meta account or business integration to prevent further access through that authorization. You may then submit a deletion request to:
Privacy Email:
Use the subject: Meta Data Deletion Request Where possible, include the OtoMate workspace or business that was connected, the applicable Meta product, and sufficient identifying information for us to locate the relevant records. OtoMate will verify and process valid requests and delete or de-identify applicable Meta-derived information unless retention is required or permitted for legitimate security, legal, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or compliance purposes. Disconnecting an integration prevents future access through that authorization but does not automatically delete all information that was previously processed. A separate deletion request may therefore be required.
4. Meta Automatic Data
Deletion Requests
Where supported by the applicable Meta integration, Meta may send OtoMate a data deletion request when a user removes or revokes the OtoMate application through Meta. When OtoMate receives a valid request from Meta, our systems will initiate the applicable deletion process for information associated with the requesting Meta user or account. Where required by Meta, OtoMate will return or provide a confirmation identifier and a method for checking the status of the deletion request.
5. If You Interacted With a
Business Using OtoMate
We may share information with trusted service providers and subprocessors that help us operate OtoMate, including infrastructure providers, cloud hosting providers, database providers, authentication services, communications providers, payment processors, analytics providers, AI service providers, security services, customer support tools, and integration providers. These providers may only process information as necessary to provide their services to OtoMate and are subject to appropriate contractual, confidentiality, or data protection obligations where required. Information may also be shared with third-party platforms when a customer intentionally enables an integration or requests an action involving that platform. For example, when a customer connects Meta services, relevant information may be transmitted between OtoMate and Meta to provide messaging, account management, automation, analytics, or other authorized functionality. We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or lawful governmental request; protect the security or integrity of our services; enforce our agreements; investigate fraud or abuse; or protect the rights and safety of OtoMate, our customers, users, or others. If OtoMate is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of all or part of its business, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable legal requirements.
6. What Happens After
a Deletion Request
Once a valid deletion request is received, OtoMate may verify the identity or authority of the requester where necessary. We will then identify the information covered by the request and delete, anonymize, or otherwise restrict the applicable information as required. Deletion may include information stored within active OtoMate systems and connected application records. Information contained in secure backups may remain temporarily until the applicable backup is overwritten or expires through our normal backup lifecycle. Some records may be retained when legally required or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, accounting, contractual enforcement, dispute resolution, or compliance purposes.
7. Revoking an Integration
Customers may revoke OtoMate's access to supported third-party integrations by disconnecting the integration from OtoMate or revoking OtoMate's authorization through the applicable third-party platform. Revoking an integration stops future authorized access through that connection. Revocation and deletion are separate actions. If you would also like previously processed information deleted, please submit a deletion request using the instructions above.
